Free Consultation Service for Groups of Audit and Non-audit Officials

Are you either:

  • A leader of auditing in a government entity who would like to convince the non-audit official(s) your office reports to that your office should attempt any of the auditor roles and practices on this website?
  • A non-audit official who influences what a government audit office does who would like to explore how your auditors can increase the value they add to government performance?

Then take advantage of this new free service:

This new service is intended to stimulate dialog between auditors and non-audit officials about improving performance management.  If at least one government audit leader (e.g., audit executive, director, deputy) and one non-audit official who influences what the audit office does (e.g., an audit committee member, someone else to whom an auditor reports) from the same government entity agree to participate, we will provide a free survey and conference call consultation. We will help you explore, together, which new auditor roles and practices will add the most value to performance in your government organization based on current conditions. We will not attempt to sell follow-up consulting. We hope that this consultation, the many resources available on this website, and your continuing dialog will lead to the auditor attempting a new practice, or improving upon an existing practice, to increase the value added by the audit office to the performance of your government entity.

This service will be free for a limited time, depending on demand.  Any local, state, or provincial government entity in the United States or Canada is eligible to receive this service free of charge.
